VFX Supervisor & Co-Founder

Raiyan is the Co-Founder & VFX Supervisor at DISAUTHORITY. As a traditional artist turned digital, Raiyan comes from a fine-arts background in watercolour but had his start as a freelance storyboard artist for DJI in 2021. His approach to VFX previs, digital matte painting, and compositing focuses on being tangible to chase timeless VFX.

Joining DISAUTHORITY in late 2022 to collaborate on an animation project, SUPRA, Raiyan worked closely with the colour and production departments to develop flexible, fast-paced workflows tailored for VFX. As a core support to the company’s picture-finishing quality leading to BIFA and BAFTA qualifying productions.

In his off-time you can find Raiyan at local car meets across London, trying to befriend dogs in the nearest park, or out photographing graffiti at Leeke street to add to his personal reference library that is seemingly always running out of storage.
